EASY HIKES
Designed for people who are new to hiking or who want to take on a small challenge with confidence. They do not require a high level of physical effort or technical skills. That said, it is important to remember that these are still hiking routes: we may encounter uphill and downhill sections, as well as uneven or rocky terrain typical of natural trails. Nothing out of the ordinary.
These hikes are ideal if you are coming with children or with older people, always adapting the pace and enjoying the journey without rushing. In some sections, the trail may pass close to elevated areas, so if you have a strong fear of heights, certain parts may feel uncomfortable. However, there is no real danger at any point along the hike.
Even though these are easy hikes, that does not mean they are less beautiful than the others: many of them pass through spectacular landscapes and offer views that have nothing to envy of more challenging hikes.
MODERATE HIKES
Designed for people with some hiking experience or for those looking for a slightly greater challenge. These hikes are longer, include more elevation gain, and feature somewhat more technical terrain, making the overall experience more demanding and rewarding.
While they are not extreme hikes, they do require a better level of physical fitness and greater attention to the terrain. Along the way, we will encounter steeper ascents and descents, as well as rocky or uneven sections, where proper footwear and confident footing are important.
These hikes are ideal for those who enjoy putting in a bit more effort, and are the perfect balance between challenge and enjoyment: accessible to many, yet demanding enough to make every step feel meaningful.
DIFFICULT HIKES
Designed for experienced hikers looking for a real physical and technical challenge. These routes involve significant elevation gain and longer distances, requiring endurance, consistency, and good energy management.
The terrain on these hikes is more technical, and in some sections there are exposed or airy passages that demand confidence, focus, and secure footing. While it is not necessary to be an expert mountaineer, a good level of physical fitness and solid hiking experience are essential.
These hikes are ideal for those who enjoy intense challenges and the feeling of pushing their limits. The effort is rewarded with wilder landscapes, less-travelled areas, and a deep sense of connection with nature.
These options are not for everyone, but for those who are prepared, they offer some of the most complete and memorable hiking experiences on the island.
