DISCOVERING THE IBIZAN CULTURE

Embark on an exciting hiking adventure in Ibiza and discover the Fisherman’s Cove. In the southernmost part of Es Amunts, the wildest part of the island, we venture into an area where ancient pens and orchards lie abandoned. The trail cutting through this place transports us through time, revealing the rich Ibicencan culture as we walk amidst majestic cliffs and their crystalline waters.

During the journey, we will witness a fascinating reed forest and a spring that seems to emerge out of nowhere. We will also encounter ancient ruins housing impressive viewpoints, offering panoramic views that will take your breath away. Halfway through, we will reach a hidden cove where we can take a dip and if the conditions are good, do some snorkeling! Get ready to enjoy its crystalline waters.

THE FISHERMAN’S COVE FEATURES

This hike isn’t particularly challenging, except for the uphill stretch after reaching the cove, as the terrain is more susceptible to weather conditions and passes close to a cliff. This specific area can be dangerous, especially for those afraid of heights, although it shouldn’t be a problem if approached with care and patience. The rest of the path is quite comfortable, and with proper footwear, it shouldn’t pose any risks, although it’s worth noting there are uphill stretches with inclines. It also includes the chance to snorkel, but only if the conditions are safe.
