ABOUT US
OUR PHILOSOPHY
«The Other Face» was born with the proposal of showing the lesser-known places of the island through hiking trails and photography to people from all over the world. Therefore, our services are aimed at lovers of nature, sports, wellness and landscape photography. One of our main objectives is to provide a different vision of what Ibiza is and to show abroad that another type of tourism is possible. Our passion is to take you to exclusive places in Ibiza that very few people know about.
The Other Face is legally registered as a company of Active Tourism with number TA-0028-E. We are local guides and we have been exploring Ibiza for many years, always with the same passion as the first day. The fact of discovering spectacular places day by day has made us love the island and above all, we want to take care of it and preserve it. That is why on our routes we want to respect the ecosystems of Ibiza as much as possible and instill that affection in all the people who accompany us. As a result of this, we want to give value to eco-sustainability and the endemic nature of the “Pitiusa” wildlife, so that more and more awareness is created about the importance of conserving our natural environment.
In the same way that we want to maintain the natural essence of the island, we also want to take advantage of the synergy with companies and other local entities to grow together. In a world that is becoming more and more globalized and in which it is increasingly difficult for small businesses to prosper, it is important to collaborate in order to create a local and quality environment.
In the future we would love to be able to offer more services with qualified people from the sector, making our company a multidisciplinary team with a much more complete active tourism offer (kayak, climbing, paddle, bike, etc.). In this way, we will be able to give to know all the faces of the island that deserve to be discovered.
DONOVAN CRUCES
After more than 12 years on the island of Ibiza, this trained tour guide, now converted to an active tourism guide, has toured every corner of the Ibizan paradise. Donovan is a true enthusiastic explorer and lover of the mountains and Balearic nature. This has led him to participate in courses such as canyoning, climbing (Club Eivissenc de Escalada member), caving (Grup Eivissenc de Espeleología) and mountaineering. All this experience and that acquired on his account make him the ideal person to guide you safely and transmitting the necessary tranquility to fully enjoy this activity.
Fully committed to respecting the fauna and flora and caring for the environment in general (partner of SEO BirdLife and volunteer at SOS Salvem sa Sargantana Pitiüsa), faithful to a circular economy hand in hand with entities and people that promote growth local.

MARC TORRES
Born in Ibiza, he started photography when he was very young, at the age of 16. Now, 9 years later, he continues to do landscape photography with the same passion that he did in the early days. As a lover of his island, he has explored a large part of the Ibizan coastline in order to find the best photographs of Ibiza.
The need to always go a little further, made him start in two activities closely linked to nature: hiking and freediving. Today, these two sports are two very important pillars in his life that, together with photography, mean that he spends as much time as possible away from urban centers.
One of his objectives is to show the Ibiza that he lives every day, both to local people and to people from all over the world. An Ibiza that is far removed from the stereotypes that have been created about the island.
