Discover The Mermaid’s Cave in Ibiza through a semicircular hiking route that combines sea views, cliffs, forest, and some of the most spectacular landscapes on the island. A trail designed for those who want to explore one of Ibiza’s most mysterious places while enjoying a complete and varied hiking experience.
The adventure begins along a coastal path with stunning views over the Mediterranean. Along the way, we will reach a hidden cove, a secret spot accessed through a natural tunnel carved into the cliff. A surprising corner where sea and rock create a truly unique atmosphere.
We will then begin the ascent to the top of the mountain, where spectacular panoramic views open up over Ibiza’s east and south coasts. From this point, we will descend to the famous The Mermaid’s Cave, one of the most special and photographed places in Ibiza.
THE MERMAID’S CAVE FEATURES
This route is of intermediate level. It includes some steep and technical sections, so previous hiking experience and a good level of fitness are required. For more experienced hikers it will feel like an easy route, but if you do not have much experience, it can be a great challenge!
We have also added a shorter option, which does not descend to The Mermaid’s Cave, but still visits one of the coves mentioned in the description, making it a more manageable option physically. Even so, we still consider it an intermediate-level route.
