We are facing a geological singularity. It is a kind of well formed by a subsidence in the coastal cliffs. At the bottom of the well is the sea water, which enters through an underground passage that connects the “Ullal” with the open sea.
In the spring and summer months, sunlight enters the cave creating a beam through the darkness. It is important to know what time this phenomenon occurs, since it does not happen throughout the day.
After descending to the cave, the fun does not end, this route can be connected to The Amphitheater, due to its proximity to this route.
ROUTE FEATURES
The hike is a bit technical in some of the areas, especially on the descents. The climb can be very hard for some people who are not used to it. The cave has a bad reputation of being dangerous due to many news that have come out because of people who have jumped from the top and have been trapped. Even so, if you follow the advice of the guide, you can enjoy the site without any danger.
