DISCOVERING ATLANTIS: IBIZA’S HIDDEN GEM

As local guides, we often hear one question whispered among adventurous travelers: “¿Where is Atlantis in Ibiza?”. The truth is not on any official map, but is very real and a place you won’t miss .

This strange blend of human history and natural erosion gives the site its mystical atmosphere. Combined with the breathtaking coastal views and the sound of the waves below. it’s easy to see why many visitors say they feel something spiritual here.

Some locals have never been, others believe it holds energetic power points, just like nearby Es Vedrà.

What you’ll find there is not an ancient city, but an abandoned quarry carved into wild, jagged cliffs above the sea. Over time, nature has taken over, filling crevices with emerald water, creating natural sculptures, and offering a dreamlike setting that feels like stepping
into another world.

THE PATH TO THE UNKNOWN

Atlantis hiking is not for the faint of heart. The descent from the cliffs of Cala d’Hort is steep, rocky, and challenging, especially in the summer heat. That’s why we always recommend going with a local guide or, at the very least, bringing good shoes, plenty of water, and checking conditions beforehand.
It takes about 30–40 minutes to get down and a bit longer to return, but every step is worth it. Along the way, you’ll pass through a pine forest before the trail suddenly opens up to an incredible view of carved stone platforms and turquoise sea below.
The sense of discovery is part of the experience, that’s why some still call it the secret Atlantis Ibiza.

If you’re looking for a haven of peace, spirituality, and mysticism on your visit to Ibiza, be sure to come to this secret corner of the Mediterranean, which is really neither a beach nor a cove, and whose name is reminiscent of Greek legends and distant lands
