A CAVE TO DREAM OF
The area of ”Es amunts” is an area in which the great cliffs and the rocky coast rule. Many caves and grottos are hidden in it, but there is one in particular that leaves no one indifferent. We have called it “The Amphitheater” due to its large size and its shape.
It is a perfect cave for landscape photography, since it has more than one opening and is quite large, which allows us to have a wide variety of frames to compose. If we add to that the presence of a human figure in our photo, we will get very impressive photographs, due to the scale that this provides us.
It is a location that can be enjoyed at all hours of the day, since the light does not shine too strongly. During the morning, we can enjoy the first light of the sun caressing the cliffs in the background and during the afternoon, we can capture the light that enters the cave creating a series of very attractive contrasts. The wall, of a light color, will cause all the light that is reflected to be of a very intense color.

ROUTE FEATURES
It is a route with a certain unevenness, so it can be a bit hard for people who are not used to it or if we carry a lot of equipment in our backpack. That is why we recommend bringing only the essentials: your camera, a lens as wide as possible and a tripod. It can also be interesting to bring equipment to make panoramic views.
As for the technical level, the route has some steep descent and depending on the time and weather conditions it can cause some slipping. We recommend carrying a backpack to which you can strap the tripod so that you can keep both hands free. In any case, the route is safe in all sections and does not have any really important danger.
