DISCOVER ALL THE SECRETS ABOUT NIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY
At The Other Face, we have always wanted to offer different experiences. Starting with hiking, we have created different routes on the island of Ibiza with a new approach: connecting them with landscape photography. Now, we bring you this night photography workshop that aims to have a totally different approach to what you can expect from a photography workshop.
We are aware that there is a lot of information on the internet about what parameters to use, what equipment is best, how to edit the photographs, etc. That is why we are going to focus this workshop on explaining to you from scratch, what steps we have been taking and the mistakes we have made so that you are already aware of them and can get ahead of the rest. The main idea of this workshop is that you can skip all those nights of night photography in which your pictures have not turned out as you expected. We won’t focus so much on the typical “What ISO to use”, “What is the best lens” or “What camera do we recommend”.
For this, the workshop will be developed together with all the students. We will raise questions and problems that you will have to solve and explain. These doubts will be based on our experience and will be about problems that we have had during our learning curve. In this way, you will reach the level you want much sooner and you will understand the concepts better.

¿WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO LEARN?
Long expsoure photograhpy in low-light environments.
Focusing and composing during night with the gorgeous Milky Way
The actual reason why we use the parameters we use.
Applying the stacking process, used by all professional night photographers.
Using photopills at its best.
Above all, you will learn what are the typical mistakes that many people make, so that you can avoid them from the start.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Camera with manual mode and brightest possible lenses.
A tripod, as sturdy as possible.
A headlamp with red light.
A shooter with intervalometer if your camera doesn’t have one.
A great desire to learn.
WHERE WILL IT TAKE PLACE?
The workshop will take place on the island of Ibiza, more specifically in the area of the famous Es Vedrà viewpoint. It is an idyllic place for night photography as the light pollution is very low and we have the opportunity to combine the Milky Way with this magnificent island.
