THE PARADISE OF PANORAMIC PHOTOGRAPHY

In this area of the island we can enjoy a different and lesser known point of view of the famous island of “Es Vedrà”. For us, the way it looks from here is even more photogenic than the typical silhouette that can be seen from the most famous viewpoints. In addition, here the influx of people is much lower than in other nearby areas.

How added, the cliffs that govern this route are full of cavities and caves that allow us to create dream frames using panoramic photography. In any case, it is also an excellent place for minimalist photography, being able to take advantage of the silhouette of Es Vedrà to create simple compositions.

Once again we are facing a route that can be enjoyed both at sunrise and sunset, but in this case, it is much more interesting during the last hours of the day. At that moment, the golden light of the sun enters the caves and allows us to enjoy a full-fledged spectacle for landscape photography. It is also interesting to do the route at night, since you can enjoy skies with little light pollution and we can take advantage of the Milky Way season.

ROUTE FEATURES

We are facing a very variable route in terms of technical level. Access to some of the caves can be difficult for people with vertigo as the terrain is a bit unstable. In addition, there are some that do require a certain experience, but the vast majority do not.

As for the physical level, the route does not have too many complications. It has a climb at the end that can be a bit hard if we carry a lot of weight but it is easily overcome.

Because access to the caves can be compromised, we recommend that you carry all your gear in your backpack and keep your hands free. The ideal lens for this route is a wide angle, along with panoramic photography equipment, although a medium zoom is also very useful.

  • Technical level – Medium
  • Physical level – Easy
